Honorees across the system recognized for excellence in nursing
Charlotte, NC, July 30, 2014 - Thirteen Novant Health registered nurses have been named to the prestigious Great 100 Nurses in North Carolina list by Great 100, Inc., an organization that recognizes nursing excellence and provides scholarships to nursing students at all levels across the state.
The nurses recognized from Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center are: Rea Buie, Carol Caldwell, Susan Craig, Lynn Helderman, Lisa Kelley, Nora King, Lissa Ready, Amber Segerlin, Carmen Smith, Melissa Stafford and Deborah Stegall.
Susan Hill, nurse practitioner, emergency services at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center, and Jennifer Sames, manager clinical operations, PHOA administration, were also named to the 2014 list of Great 100 nurses.
These Registered Nurses were selected on the basis of their outstanding professional ability and commitment to improving health care in their communities. Each recipient presents a positive, professional image of nursing. These deserving nurses will be honored Oct. 18 during the Great 100 Gala at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.
