WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to partner with Cardinal Innovations Healthcare and the Mental Health Association of Forsyth County to offer a free mental health services workshop April 26 in Winston-Salem. The event, which is open to the public, is designed to raise awareness on the topic of mental health services available in the Winston-Salem community. The workshop will be geared toward local mental health professionals as well as interested citizens, stakeholders and community advocates.
The workshop, entitled Getting Through the Maze: Mental Health in Our Community, will include panels featuring local mental health professionals who will address a wide range of mental health concerns, including challenges of access to mental health services and what services are available to patients in the Winston-Salem community.
The event will be held Friday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Conference Center. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and light refreshments will be provided.
