Novant Health expands behavioral health services to Concord

Novant Health has expanded its behavioral health services to Concord with the recent opening of Novant Health Psychiatry. The new outpatient clinic provides children, adolescents and adults with diagnosis and treatment of mental health concerns, including anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger and chronic irritability, and other mood disorders.

Offering patients individual and group therapy, the clinic is staffed by Dr. Sumana Gadde, a psychiatrist who most recently worked at the Novant Health Psychiatric Associates clinic in Huntersville. Gadde completed medical school at Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College in India. She completed her internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky, and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Gadde is board-certified in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
