Haymarket, V.A., May 11, 2016 – On May 11, Novant Health UVA Health System Northern Virginia Psychiatric Associates opened a new location in Haymarket, Virginia. The office is located at 15195 Heathcote Blvd., Suite 350.
The Haymarket office is the second Northern Virginia Psychiatric Associates location and will be staffed by Dr. Nicole DiRienzo and Dr. Arjun Karkhanis.
DiRienzo has been with Northern Virginia Psychiatric Associates since 2010. She completed medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. DiRienzo completed her residency in psychiatric medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. DiRienzo is board-certified in psychiatry and focuses on adult psychiatric services. She is available for appointments Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
Karkhanis joined Northern Virginia Psychiatric Associates in April. He completed medical school at Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas. Karkhanis completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Austin, and his fellowship at the University of Texas in Austin. Karkhanis is board-certified in psychiatry and in child and adolescent psychiatry. He focuses on child and adolescent psychiatric services. Karkhanis is available for appointments Monday through Friday.
Northern Virginia Psychiatric Associates specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, as well as common and complex psychiatric concerns.
