WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health has named Tammy Jones as the new senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Jones has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and brand management, including five years at Novant Health. She reports to Jesse Cureton, executive vice president and chief consumer officer for Novant Health.
In this role, Jones will lead the strategic direction of all Novant Health system marketing activities. She will oversee and implement marketing strategies, including brand, market research, paid media and campaign management, and physician and consumer content marketing.

Jones brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic marketing and brand management for national organizations, including Johnson & Johnson and Philips. In her most recent role as the vice president of marketing for Novant Health, Jones launched a new digital platform that significantly improved consumer experience; developed marketing campaigns that increased annual wellness and screening program actions, and led the development and launch of an award-winning brand campaign.
Jones received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, and a Master of Business Administration in marketing and general management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville.
