Charlotte, N.C. – A new Novant Health medical office building has opened its doors in Charlotte’s Berewick community. The new medical office building will house clinics providing pediatric, primary care and obstetric and gynecological services. Located at 8820 Rachel Freeman Way in Charlotte, the three clinics will see patients Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Novant Health Pediatrics Berewick
Novant Health Pediatrics Berewick clinic provides healthcare services to children through their development years. Dr. James High and Mercedes Stanley, NP, care for children from birth to age 21 with primary medical services, including well-child and sick-child visits, vaccines, physicals, behavioral consultations and prenatal visits.
High and Stanley transitioned to the new clinic from Novant Health Pediatrics Plaza Midwood.

Novant Health Primary Care Berewick
Novant Health Primary Care Berewick provides comprehensive medical services for patients of all ages by Houston Cutshaw, PA. The clinic will welcome Dr. Robert Lejawa in summer 2019. Primary Care Berewick offers well-child checkups, sick-child visits, immunizations, flu shots, physicals, Medicare annual wellness visits, sexually transmitted disease screenings, treatment of acute minor illnesses, management of chronic illnesses, gynecological exams and women’s health services, ear washes, vision and hearing screenings, and on-site lab tests.
Cutshaw joins Novant Health after serving as a certified physician assistant for 10 years in Belmont and Mountain Island, North Carolina. Lejawa will join Novant Health with 13 years of experience as an osteopathic doctor (DO) in family medicine.

Novant Health Mintview OB/GYN
Novant Health Mintview OB/GYN is opening a satellite clinic in Berewick. Dr. Tiffany Bates and her team will provide a full scope of women’s services, including gynecology, obstetrics, preventive care and wellness, surgery, preconception counseling, breast disease, cancer screening and diagnosis, and urinary tract evaluation and treatment.
Bates is the primary provider at the satellite clinic, but all Novant Health Mintview OB/GYN providers will rotate through this location.
