Novant Health partners with Walgreens to offer care inside stores

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Today, Novant Health announced the opening of three Novant Health Express at Walgreens retail health clinics in North Carolina. The clinic locations are:

  • 6231 Fairview Road in Charlotte, open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • 319 Village Road NE in Leland, open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • 1712 S. Stratford Road in Winston-Salem, open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

“Novant Health is excited to partner with Walgreens as this will help us make healthcare more convenient, affordable and accessible,” said Dr. Pam Oliver, executive vice president and president of Novant Health Physician Network. “Our new clinics at Walgreens create an additional venue for Novant Health to support and care for community members with chronic conditions as well as expand access to quality care for minor illnesses and injuries.”

These retail health clinics are staffed by Novant Health advanced practice clinicians (physician assistants and nurse practitioners) to provide patients two and older in North Carolina with access to convenient and affordable health care for treating common illnesses and injuries, as well as services for chronic care, with no appointment necessary. Testing, vaccinations, wellness exams and screenings will also be offered at the clinic.
