WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Novant Health reached a milestone 1 million patients accessing their online personal health record on MyChart. MyChart has been a key component of the Novant Health online patient experience and is a secure, online health management tool that connects patients to their personalized health record – from anywhere at any time. Novant Health continues to add innovative features that matter most to consumers like geolocation appointment check-in.

Since its implementation in 2011, MyChart has:
- Averaged 12,363 new users every month
- Enabled more than 24 million online interactions between clinicians and patients for prescription refills, test results, email messaging and more
- Scheduled more than 1.2 million appointments in our clinics
With MyChart, patients can be more involved in their care by:
- Emailing their care team directly
- Requesting prescription renewals
- Scheduling and managing appointments
- Viewing laboratory test results
- Viewing recent clinic visits
- Paying bills online
