Novant Health extends family medicine hours providing care for infants, children and adults, adds urology and general surgery specialists Southport, NC, August 3, 2015 – The Novant Health Oceanside Family Medicine location in Southport, North Carolina, has expanded its services to include care for the entire family and extended hours from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. every weekday. Additionally, the physicians of Novant Health Urology Partners and Novant Health Surgical Associates are now seeing patients at the Southport office.

Located at the corner of Highway 17 and Persimmon Road in the town of Carolina Shores, the new medical plaza will offer primary care, specialty care and imaging services.

Salisbury, NC, July 22, 2015 - Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is partnering with Rowan County Emergency Medical Services (RCEMS) to provide transitional care to patients who are at a substantial risk for hospital readmission. This innovative partnership will allow Novant Health to collaborate with county emergency medical services to provide post-discharge and preventive care for its patients. Komen North Carolina Triangle to the Coast grant will fund mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women Bolivia, North Carolina, July 6, 2015 – The Novant Health Foundation Brunswick Medical Center has received a $46,150 grant from Susan G. Komen North Carolina Triangle to the Coast to provide free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women in Brunswick County.

He credited his successes in large part to his wife, Dianne, who stood beside him when Rick Parker, director of Novant Health Foundation Rowan Medical Center, presented the couple with the award.

Leland, NC, June 29, 2015 – On July 15, 2015, Novant Health Oceanside Family Medicine will open a new clinic location in Leland, North Carolina. The office will be located at Waterford Medical Plaza, 509 Olde Waterford Way, Suite 200. Staff began scheduling appointments for the new clinic June 15.

China Grove, N.C., June 4, 2015 - On June 1, Novant Health held a ribbon-cutting for two physician clinics in China Grove that relocated to a new medical office building. Novant Health Primary Care South Rowan and Novant Health Carolina Women’s Health Associates China Grove have moved to 1965 S. U.S. Highway 29, China Grove. Both offices were previously located at 307 E. Thom Street, China Grove.

Manassas, VA, June 1, 2015 – Novant Health recently celebrated the opening of its new outpatient space to better provide the community with behavioral health services, including psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management and group therapy.

Manassas, VA, May 18, 2015 - Novant Health has been named the official medical partner of the Quicken Loans National PGA TOUR tournament. The tournament pays tribute to the Armed Forces while raising funds and awareness for the Tiger Woods Foundation and its college-access programs. The tournament will take place at the Robert Trent Jones golf course in Prince William County, VA., beginning July 27.
