Charlotte, N.C. – A new Novant Health medical office building has opened its doors in Charlotte’s Berewick community. The new medical office building will house clinics providing pediatric, primary care and obstetric and gynecological services. Located at 8820 Rachel Freeman Way in Charlotte, the three clinics will see patients Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  

BOLIVIA, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Sandra Carnahan to Novant Health Oceanside Family Medicine in Leland. Carnahan joined the clinic in December and is accepting new patients.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.   Novant Health is piloting a new, online feature that allows patients to access their health information on a tablet while in the hospital. MyChart Bedside is an app that allows patients and their families to interact with their medical record and care plan during a hospital stay. The pilot is being used at three medical centers: Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center, Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center and Novant Health Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital.

“King of the Court” volleyball fundraiser donates over $6,000 to hospital foundation   SALISBURY, N.C. ― Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation partnered with Rowan-Salisbury area high schools to host the third annual King of the Court, a junior and senior all-male volleyball fundraiser. Together, the six area high schools raised $6,000. All proceeds will be donated to the Rowan Medical Center Foundation in support of its breast health fund which covers the cost of mammograms, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds for women who are uninsured or underinsured.

BOLIVIA, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Scott Itzkowitz and Dorothy Truax, PA, to Novant Health Gastroenterology Brunswick. Itzkowitz has been serving patients on a part-time basis and joined the clinic full-time in August. Truax joined the clinic in September. Both providers are accepting new patients.

WESLEY CHAPEL, N.C.– Novant Health has opened a medical office building in Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, bringing three new clinics to the area. Novant Health Southern Piedmont Primary Care, Novant Health Child & Adolescent Medical Group and Novant Health Carmel OB/GYN are open and seeing patients at 6488 Weddington-Monroe Road. All three clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
