Novant Health Eastover Pediatrics and Novant Health Midtown OB/GYN named “Mother-Baby Friendly” Charlotte, NC, November 11, 2014 – Novant Health Eastover Pediatrics and Novant Health Midtown OB/GYN were two of the three outpatient clinics recently named by the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition (NCBC) as inaugural recipients of the Mother-Baby Friendly Clinic Award. Novant Health first in state to join federal- level Health Information Exchange Winston-Salem, N.C., November 13, 2014 On October 19, 2014, Novant Health became the first healthcare system in North Carolina to join the federal-level Health Information Exchange (HIE), eHealth Exchange managed by HealtheWay. Patient care coordination is simplified through the HIE by enabling providers across the country secure and instant access to Novant Health patient records.

Auxiliary is donating $50,000 to special art project Winston-Salem, NC, Oct. 31, 2014 – The Novant Heath Forsyth Medical Center Auxiliary is celebrating its 50th anniversary this October. The program has contributed over three million volunteer hours and over $4 million in gifts since its inception in 1964. There are currently two charter members who are still volunteers.

(CHS) of Franklin, Tenn. will assume the management and operations of Novant Health Gaffney Medical Center.
