Winston-Salem, N.C., Dec. 6, 2016 – This week, Novant Health announced that Kim Henderson has been named the chief of staff to the president and CEO of Novant Health. In this new, expanded role she will assist Novant Health President and CEO Carl S. Armato with strategy discussions with external and internal stakeholders, influence business execution and keep the executive office informed on key initiatives and projects. She will also lead special CEO-initiated projects and navigate issues that could impact their successful execution.

Winston-Salem, N.C., Nov. 16, 2016 – When a patient is diagnosed with cancer, there are several options of treatment that physicians consider. Radiation is an effective treatment, but traditional radiation technology sometimes allows surrounding healthy tissue and organs to receive unneeded radiation in the process. In an effort to more precisely target radiation, three new radiation technologies are being administered at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center’s Derrick L. Davis Cancer Center.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 9, 2016 — Novant Health Hallmark Care, a concierge-style medical practice, has moved its office to the South Park area.  Previously located on Randolph Road the physicians will now see patients at 4500 Cameron Valley Parkway, Suite 100. 

Winston-Salem, N.C., Nov. 7, 2016 – Novant Health is offering six men’s health seminars in November to celebrate Movember, a health initiative led by the Movember Foundation that focuses on men’s health. The foundation focuses on raising awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

Winston-Salem, N.C., Nov. 7, 2016 – Novant Health donated a book this month to more than 200 second-grade classrooms in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School (WSFCS) system to help students learn math. The book – Saved by Addition by Rachel Rogers and Joe Lineberry – is part of the Gift of Numbers series and creates a unique storyline tailored to reinforce the classroom’s math concepts.

Brownlee joined the clinic in September and is accepting new patients. The clinic is located at 1700 Matthews Township Pkwy in Matthews, North Carolina. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
